Applications
The hedge trimmer is intended for trimming bushes and small trees and hedges in private gardens. It
is not intended for professional use. The hedge trimmer must only be used for the purpose for which
it is intended. All other use is considered to be unsuitable.
Adjusting the length of the handle
1.
Hold one end of the telescopic handle
and unscrew the lock sleeve.
2.
Pull out the telescopic handle to the
required length.
3.
Tighten the lock sleeve firmly.
Inserting the battery
1.
Hold the handle on the hedge trimmer with one hand and hold the battery in the other.
2.
Press the battery’s lock button with your thumb.
3.
Press in the battery all the way into the battery compartment.
4.
Release the battery lock button.
Fitting the shoulder strap
Fasten the shoulder strap by pressing the spring unit on the strap into the lock. Release the shoulder
strap by pressing the springs on the sides of the spring unit.
Lubricating the bar
Make sure to lubricate the bar on the hedge trimmer with a low viscosity oil before and after use.
Use
NOTE:
Adjust the handle to a suitable length for the work before starting.
1.
Place the shoulder strap over your shoulder and adjust the length.
2.
Hold the handle with one hand and hold the front handle with the other hand.
3.
Press the start inhibitor.
4.
Start and stop the hedge trimmer with the power switch.
