4. Pressing Dispense Wipe But-
ton feeds out wipes slowly and a
small amount of Highlight.
Battery power low.
Replace batteries in Battery Compartment
(6 AA batteries required) or utilize new Cartridge.
5. Pressing Dispense Wipe
Button when no wipe is present
across the rollers causes Lid to
dispense Highlight.
Door Sensor not sensing absence of
Wipe.
Open Lid and ensure the Door Sensor can swing
freely.
6. Pressing Dispense Wipe But-
ton does not dispense wipe after
a wipe retraction.
Wipe is not engaging with Rollers after
wipe retraction.
Open Lid and ensure wipe is placed on top of the
Bottom Roller with 1-2 inch lead.
7. Wipe does not retract after 5
minutes of inactivity.
Lid was opened during the 5 minute
window.
The Lid must remain closed for 5 minutes after a
Dispense Wipe Button press for the wipe retraction to
occur.
8. Most of the colour is fading,
but some colour residue is being
left behind.
Inconsistent wiping technique and
uneven disinfectant coverage.
Fold the wipe in half and wipe the surface with
multiple passes to evenly and thoroughly distribute
disinfectant coverage. Any colour residue left behind
can be wiped away with a wet paper towel or another
bleach disinfectant wipe.
The surface contains soil or residue,
such as sticker residue.
Remove any soil, gross filth, or residue prior to apply
-
ing Highlight in order to achieve effective disinfection
on surfaces.
9. Less than 50% of the colour is
fading or not fading at all.
Bleach wipes are no longer at the right
concentration of bleach (due to decay
or expiration).
Test concentration with hypochlorite test strip (if avail-
able) or switch to a new bucket or canister of bleach
wipes using the same Lid and Cartridge.
Bleach wipes are not being used.
Confirm to make sure that sodium hypochlorite wipes
are being used. Switch to a new canister or bucket of
bleach wipes.
