Use
Please check first of all that the unit is complete and is not damaged in any way.
In in doubt, do not use the appliance. Send it to a service point.
The following parts are included as standard:

MEDISANA neck heating pad HKH with cover
• 1 Instructions for use
The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any
packaging material no longer required.
If you notice any transport damage during unpacking, please contact your
dealer without delay.
WARNING
Please ensure that polybag packing is kept away from reach
of children! Risk of suffocation!
The MEDISANA heating pad HKH allows you to gently heat selected parts of
the neck. The use of heat promotes blood circulation and boosts the meta-
bolism, thereby increasing the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the muscle
tissue. This improves movement in the neck and gives you a pleasant relaxed
feeling after a long hard day.
The heat pad features an electric temperature control that regulates the
temperature according to the chosen setting.
Only use the heat pad in the cover supplied with it.
Place the heating pad around your neck with the opening at the front and close
the fastener.
Plug the unit into the mains outlet and move the slider control from position 0
to position 1 . The power LED will light up in red. After a few minutes you will
be able to feel the pad getting noticeably warmer. If you require a higher
temperature setting, move the switch to the next positions,
2 or 3 , or to the
maximum heat setting, position 4 . If the pad gets too hot for you, move the sli-
der back to position 3 , 2 or 1 .
After a short while the heating pad cools down noticeably.
To switch the unit off, move the switch back to position
0 . The red power LED
will go out, indicating that the unit is switched off. Unplug the unit from the
mains outlet.
Move the selector switch to position
1 or 2 before falling asleep or any
con-tinuous use. The heat pad will switch off automatically after approx. 90
minutes of con-tinuous use. To switch it back on again, move the slider control
to position
0 and then back to the desired heat setting.
Unplug the unit from the mains outlet once you have finished using it.
