6.1.3. Bluetooth
connection
Bluetooth operation enables the wireless reception of audio signals from an
external Bluetooth-compatible audio output device. Ensure that the distance
between the two devices is not greater than 10 metres.
Switching on the Soundbar for Bluetooth reception
Switch on the Bluetooth mode on the Soundbar by pressing the
SOURCE
button.
Press and hold the
B T PA I R
button on your remote control for a few seconds.
The blue Bluetooth-LED starts blinking slowly. The device is now ready to be paired
with another Bluetooth device.
Switch on the Bluetooth function on your audio output device and activate the
search for new Bluetooth devices.
NOTE
If required, please refer to the corresponding operating instructions for
information on the Bluetooth functionality of your audio output device.
The Soundbar’s device name
MD 84510
will be displayed as soon as a signal is
found.
Select the Soundbar from the list of available Bluetooth devices and make the
connection to the speaker via the menu on your audio output device.
NOTE
If you are asked for a password, enter
0000
.
The pairing is complete when the Bluetooth-LED lights permanently.
If there is already an existing connection to the speaker, press the
B T
PA I R
button on the remote control for a few seconds to re-activate the
pairing mode, the existing connection will be interrupted.
Having the Soundbar connected to a device that supports the A2DP profile and
AVRCP profile (Audio Video Remote Control), the Soundbar is used as output device.
The audio signals are only output by the Soundbar. Then the following functions are
available:

The following LED displays are possible:
Bluetooth-LED
Meaning
Steady blue light
The pairing is completeted.
Blinking blue light
The device is in search mode or playback has been
stopped.
