5.3. Connections
Before connecting up the radio, switch it off using the power switch at the back of
the device.

Operation in WiFi mode: Arrange the aerial at the back of the device for recep-
tion.

Operation in LAN mode: Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ 45 port.

Operating the FM/DAB radio: Arrange the aerial at the back of the device for re-
ception.

Mains adapter: Connect the connector plug on the supplied mains adapter to
the DC IN port and connect the mains plug to an AC 230 V~50 Hz socket.

LINE OUT: Connect a 3.5 mm stereo jack to the LINE OUT socket to transfer the
stereo sound output from the Internet radio to other audio devices.

AUX IN: Connect a 3.5 mm stereo jack cable to the AUX-IN socket, in order to
play back stereo sound from other audio devices on the Internet radio.

USB: Connect a USB storage medium here to play back audio files on the storage
medium on the Internet radio.

Headphone connection: Connect the 3.5 mm stereo jack plug on the head-
phones here to listen to the sound from the Internet radio via the headphones.
5.4. Resetting the device in case of malfunction
If the device fails to react, switch it off using the power switch at the back and then
switch it on again after a few seconds.
Then reset the menu settings to the factory settings by accessing the menu
System
settings -> Factory Reset and confirming the prompt with YES .
You will now have to repeat the installation process.
NOTE!
Please note that all settings, e.g. the network key, will be irretrievably
lost and will need to be input again after the device has been reset.
