Inserting an additional Flash Memory Expansion Module
Proceed as follows:
− Switch off the notebook by shutting it down properly.
− Turn the notebook over and lay it down on a stable and even surface to prevent
the notebook from falling.
− Remove the marked screw on the underside of the notebook and remove the
cover from the fl ash memory expansion module.
− Remove the screw from the slot.
− Push the fl ash memory expansion module into the slot with the contacts facing
towards the right and fi x it in place using the previously removed screw.
− Replace the cover and screw it back on securely.
As long as the additional memory is already formatted or contains data, the operating
system will recognise and include the new disk.
