10. Sport mode
10.1. Activity recording
In the menu, tap
or press the sport mode shortcut button to select a sport
type for your activity recording.
Use the MEDION
®
Fitness app to select an activity from an extended
range of sport modes (e.g. badminton, dancing etc.). The range varies
depending on the device model.
Tap on the desired type of sport to start recording the activity.
Depending on the sport type selected, a prompt appears at this point to
confirm whether you would like to use the GPS function for your activity.
An active GPS function increases the battery consumption.
Please be aware that it may take longer to establish the GPS connection
in some cases when you first set up the device, as the sports watch must
initially establish first contact with the satellites.
Activity recording starts once the three-second countdown has elapsed.
During the activity, swipe once from left to right on the display or press the On/
Off button to pause the activity recording. To resume the activity recording,
swipe from right to left on the display.
During the activity, swipe twice from left to right on the display or press the On/
Off button twice to end the activity recording.
Tap the end button to store the recorded sports data during the process.
If insufficient sports data has been recorded to store this progress, a
corresponding message is shown on the display.
10.2. Data view during the activity
Depending on the selected sport type, the sports data measured while recording
the activity is shown on the display, for example:
–
Activity duration
–
Average step count per minute
–
Distance covered
–
Calorie consumption
–
Speed
–
Heart rate
During the activity, swipe from left to right on the display to pause the activity
recording and view addition data, for example the route (only when using the
GPS function).
