Recording from the radio
Use the function switch to select the radio operating mode and tune in the station
you require.
When you have inserted a cassette press down

Select
CD/USB/SD
mode and insert an audio CD or an MP3 data carrier.
Play a CD up to the point from which you want to record and then press the

NOTICE!
You will achieve a smoother start to the recording if you press the cassette
R E C O R D
+
P L AY
buttons and
PA U S E
first and then release
the
PA U S E
button to start the recording.
The machine is fitted with an erase prevention mechanism to prevent acci-
dental deletion of recordings. If the plastic tabs on the rear of the cassette
(erase prevention mechanism) are removed, the Record button cannot be
pressed when the cassette is inserted.
