7. Charging the battery
NOTICE!
Before using the device for the first time, be sure to read the safety in-
structions.

Do not operate the speaker as long as the battery is being
charged.

Use only the supplied mains adapter, type:
PS18K1501200E5 Flypower.
The loudspeaker is operated via the integrated 11.1 V lithium-ion battery
(1,300 mAh).
The battery must be fully charged using the mains adapter before the device can be
used wirelessly. The normal charging time for the battery is approx. 4 hours for a ful-
ly discharged battery.
Charge the speaker’s built-in battery using the supplied mains adapter or alterna-
tively with a USB charging cable. Proceed as follows:

Plug the connector plug of the mains adapter into the speaker’s

connec-
tion socket.
During charging, the button flashes slowly red. Once charging is completed, the
button goes off.

Remove the charging cable.
When the charge level of the battery is too low, there will be a warning signal every
minute and the button flashes. Eventually, the speaker turns off automatically.
Recharge the built-in battery as described above.
