Recharge flat batteries immediately to prevent damage.
5.5. Malfunctions due to electrostatic charge
If the device is malfunctioning, it may be due to an electro-
static discharge. If this occurs, pull the plug from the socket
and reset the device (see “9. Reset to factory settings” on page
30).
5.6. Never carry out repairs yourself
WARNING
Risk of injury from electric shock.
To prevent risks, never open the housing of the loudspeak-
er or the mains adapter! There is a risk of electric shock if the
mains adapter housing is open. There are no parts requiring
maintenance.
In the event of a fault, please contact the Medion Service Cen-
tre or an approved repair specialist.
The cable on the mains adapter cannot be replaced. If the ca-
ble is damaged, the mains adapter must be scrapped and re-
placed with a mains adapter of the same type in order to
avoid hazards. In such cases please contact the Medion Ser-
vice Centre.
