Ceiling/Wall Mount Battery Backup for
System Two Light System
To use the Battery Back Up with an existing ceiling mounted Light Head, the existing
power supply must be bypassed using the steps below.
*Note: The Battery Back Up can only supply power to one Light Head
Disconnect the mains
breaker.
Remove the plastic
ceiling casting cover
and locate the power
supply plate
Disconnect the mains
connectors for the
power supply you want
to bypass. These
connectors can be
found on the mains
power distribution
block.
Disconnect DC wires
coming from the power
supply at the DC
output power
distribution block on
the ceiling casting
A connection must be
made between the DC
power distribution block
on the ceiling casting
and the DC Output
block inside the Battery
Back-up unit
Connect Mains to the
Mains Input Block
inside the Battery
Backup Unit.
Replace the Plastic
Ceiling Casting Cover
Power Supply
Plate
