PRI Connection (RJ-45)
Caution:
Always use standard telecommunication cables with a minimum of 26 AWG wire gauge.
PRI connections use two pairs of wires: one pair for transmission and the second pair for reception. It is wired
so that pins 1 & 2 are on one twisted pair and pins 4 & 5 are on a second pair according to common wiring
standards which meet the TIA/EIA 568A and 568B requirements.
