DAHL docking system
Dahl Engineering’s newly developed electric Docking System
sets completely new standards of fl exibility and safety for
wheelchair users.
It is the only system to be tested and TÜV approved under
EU safety directives for passenger vehicles (M1), with electric
mobility powered wheelchairs weighing 147 kg and using the
built-in lap belt.
The testing proved that the docking station is strong enough to
cope with a load equivalent to the powered wheelchair weight
of over 200 kg + one passenger, if the safety belt is fi tted to the
base of the vehicle in the traditional way.
