3 Safety instructions
The stepper motor driver
Slider SFX
is partially exposed to high thermal and mechanical
loads. All modifications and changes to the board are done on the risk of the user and lead
to loss of all warranty and guaranty claims.
If the board is mounted into a case, this case must have an active cooling (e.g. a fan). The
heat conducting components reach temperatures of 70°C and above during normal opera-
tions.
The user has to make sure that all legal regulations (e.g. VDE, CE, EMC) are observed. Es-
pecially when connecting the supply voltage caution has to be exercised. Provide an emer-
gency switch under all conditions and use it to disable the drives.
Use separate and shielded wires for connection of motors and limit/reference switches. For
the motor wires we recommend to use wires of diameter AWG24 (0.25mm²) or better. All
wires should not exceed a length of 3 meter.
