Proper Connection and Disconnection of Charger Units:
1)
Connect the charger to the mower charging port with the Red Anderson Connector. (Fig.S1) Plug charger
into 110-120V or 220-240V wall outlet. (following charging procedures pg. 19) You will see a red light on
the charger unit and cooling fan will turn on. This will indicate the charger is functioning properly.
2)
When unit is fully charged, the light will turn GREEN and cooling fan will turn off. To disconnect the
charger, unplug charger from outlet FIRST then proceed to unplug the charger from mower charging port.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU DO NOT UNPLUG CHARGER FROM WALL OUTLET FIRST, the GREEN light will stay
on and the charger will not reset for the next charge. If this occurs, unplug the charger from the wall
outlet and wait until the GREEN light turns off (NOTE: this may take up to 40 seconds). NOTE
–
If you
have purchased a charger with a manufacture date of January 2017 or later, the charger will reset without
having to unplug the unit from the wall outlet.

WARNING: Do not smoke
while servicing the batteries.
WARNING:
Always wear safety glasses and protective clothing near battery. Use insulated tools.
1.
Lithium Modules do not develop a memory and need not be fully discharged before recharging.
2.
Over the
winter season, when mower is not used regularly, the charger can be kept plugged into the mower to maintain a
full charge on the batteries. Batteries left uncharged will slowly discharge. Before initial use each spring season,
be sure batteries have a full charge before mowing.
3.
If charger is not left plugged in, the batteries should be fully
charged every 3-6 months to maintain battery life.
4.
When charging, be sure charger cooling fan inlet and outlet
are not blocked.
Disconnecting the Batteries (LITHIUM MODULES)
NOTE: ALWAYS
disconnect battery cables by pulling up on
LARGE RED

box compartment before
ANY
maintenance is performed on mower unit.

approximately 118 pounds. Extreme Caution should be used if removing batteries from unit. Personal Injury and
Damage to battery could occur!!
