The Magic Eye Focus (22) displays a 3-D surface plot of the intensity of the image
centered on the crosshairs of the tracking box (see page 28). As you adjust the focus,
the peak of the plot will grow or shrink and the edges will grow steeper or less steep.
Best focus is achieved at maximum peak and steepness.
