2. USER’S SAFETY
Do not carry any passengers.
Do not drive after drinking alcohol.
Consult your physician to check if your medications impair your driving abilities.
Never try to lift or push the power chair.
Never try to disassemble the structural parts of the power chair (you can only remove the
parts described in this user’s manual as removable).
Do not use any personal communication devices such as CB radios, cellular phones.
Do not tow a trailer.
Do not drive across a slope.
Never use the wheelchair when you feel you are physically unable to do it.
Driving conditions
1. Always slow down when driving on uneven, quaggy
surface.
2. Do not use the wheelchair on soft, uneven,
unprotected surfaces such as grass, gravel, sand or
decks, beside a river, lake – it may lead to wheelchair
tipping.
3. Do not use the wheelchair on wet or icy surfaces.
4. Never use the wheelchair when you do not know the driving conditions.
Reaching and bending
Do not bend, lean, or reach for objects if you have to pick them up
from the floor by reaching down between your knees. Movements
such as these may change your center of gravity and the weight
distribution of the wheelchair. This may cause your power chair
to tip and lead to personal injury.
Never stand when you are using the wheelchair.
Driving up the incline
1. Never drive up the incline which is slippery, quaggy, too slant.
2. Never stand up, bend or shake the power wheelchair.
3. In order to avoid injury,
do not drive the wheelchair in reverse
when climbing and/or downgrading.
4. If the incline is too big, your wheelchair will stop moving.
5. When you drive down the slope, always slow down.
