• Test/replace lead.

RDC Keeps Tripping • Faulty Appliance

• Have electrician check caravan electri-
cal system

No 12 Volt Power • Main isolator Turned Off.
• Batteries Flat
• Main mega fuse tripped
• Turn on main isolator.
• Charge Batteries
• Reset Mega fuse
Batteries wont charge • Batteries below minimum voltage
• Batteries failed.
• Charger not turned on.
• Charger not plugged in
• No mains power.
• Faulty Charger
• Switch charger to “Supply Mode” and
charge until holding 6 volts then switch
to AGM charge mode.
• Replace batteries.
• Turn on charger.
• Plug in charger and turn on.
• Connect mains power.
• Replace charger
Solar power not charging • Tripped circuit breaker
• Faulty DC to DC unit
• Night-time
• Parked in shade
• Reset breaker.
• Replace or repair DC to DC unit
• Wait until daytime.
• Park in sunshine
Batteries not charging from
car
• No power from car
• DC to DC trigger wire not activated
• Tripped breaker • Check car power output.
• Connect trigger wire through pin 12 to
vehicle accessory power.
• Reset breaker
Trailer lights not working • Trailer plug pins not separated.
• Car not providing power.
• Bad connection in plug • Separate pins using the split in each pin
to ensure good contact with car plug.
• Check output from car trailer plug.
• Check wire connections in plug
Lights or plugs not working • Circuit not switched on at panel.
• Batteries flat
• Circuit breaker tripped
• Switch on at control panel.
• Charge batteries
• Reset breaker
No Power to portable fridge • Tripped circuit breaker
• Faulty Socket
• Reset circuit breaker.
• Test socket with test light or multimeter
Inverter not powering • Mega fuse tripped.
• Battery voltage too low • Reset mega fuse.
