CLEANING THE LOWER EXCHANGER
CLEANING THE LOWER COMPARTMENT
Once the upper exchanger is cleaned, remove plate, remove the ash pan

and brazier

and empty them.
Then remove plate

from under the ash pan

by removing the four screws

and use the nozzle of a vacuum cleaner to remove the ash
and soot accumulated in the lower exchanger and around the brazier.
Clean all the parts and set them back into place using a new head gasket under the plate in the lower exchanger.
CLEANING THE SMOKE DUCT AND GENERAL CHECKS:
Clean the smoke exhaust, especially around the
T
-fittings, curves and any horizontal sections.
For information on cleaning the chimney, contact a chimney sweeper.
Check the tightness of the ceramic fibre gaskets on the door of the product.
If necessary, order new replacement gaskets from the retailer or contact an authorized service centre to carry out this task.
ATTENTION:
The frequency with which the smoke exhaust must be cleaned depends on the use of the product and the type of
installation. The manufacturer recommends contacting an authorised service centre for end-of-season maintenance
and cleaning as the above-mentioned operations will be performed together with a general inspection of the
components.
