CLEANING THE UPPER EXCHANGER
CLEANING THE UPPER EXCHANGER
Perform the following operations with the stove switched off and cold to clean the upper exchanger.
1. Remove top

2. Remove the lateral sides

3. Remove the front panel

4. Remove the upper cap

, by removing the two screws on the right side and the 2 on the left side

remove the six upper screws

5. Then open door

and remove the upper screw

6. Remove the fan unit

by loosening the four screws

that block it to the structure.
7. Remove the exchanger

by loosening the four screws

that fasten it.
Scrape the walls of the firebox with a rigid rod or a bottle brush inside the exchanger, for the ash to fall into the lower ash collection
compartment.
Clean all the parts and set them back into place using a new head gasket under the upper exchanger.
