9-OPERATION

Operating mode with external thermostat

In SETTINGS - THERMOSTAT select ON and quit the menu; now, if you select AUTO mode, the text OFF will display instead of the room

temperature, since the thermostat will control the stove (contact open = temperature OK = stove at minimum output; contact closed =

temperature not OK = stove at maximum power).

When the temperature setpoint has been achieved (thermostat contact open) the stove will not shut off but automatically modulates the

flame to minimum power; when the setpoint has not been achieved (thermostat contact closed) the stove modulates the flame towards

maximum power.

Operating mode with external thermostat and Eco-Stop

With the external thermostat and ECO-STOP activated, the stove will actuate the conditions described in the previous paragraph, replacing

thermostat control for the sensor temperature reading, so that:

•  When the temperature setpoint has been reached (thermostat contact open) the “ECO stop T” time starts counting down (default

10 minutes, can be changed in the technical menu). During this phase, the panel continues to display ON-ECO ACTIVE, but the flame

automatically reduces by one step a minute until it reaches P1 and stays there until the time “ECO stop T” time expires and, if the

thermostat contact is still open, goes into shutdown.

When the stove is off, the panel alternates the texts “OFF” and “ECO ATTIVO” (ECO ACTIVE). In this condition, if the room temperature falls

below the setpoint (thermostat contact closed) the stove turns on again without delay.
