Operation
3.4 Preparation Before Starting Route
1. If necessary, turn work lights on to enhance vision.
2. Activate all E-STOP buttons.
3. Press PUMP switch to activate the hydraulics.
4. Lower the grabber assembly from the STOWED position
in the hopper.
5. Open the grabber fingers ( Figure 31, Item 1).
6. Open the top door.
7. Disconnect the arm transit latch from the arm, and stow
the chain by hooking the clip to the larger hole on the
boom retainer plate ( Figure 32 , Item 1). If the operator
attempts to extend the arm with the chain still latched, the
chain will break and it will need replacing.
