Removing fuel from McLaren P1
™
GTR
1. Service tray access panel retainer
2. Vapour vent valve
3. Fuel filler valve
1. Access the fuel filler valve and vapour
vent valve under the service tray access
panel. See Service Tray Access Panel,
page 5.8.
2. Connect the bowser earth strap to the
ball of the service tray access panel
retainer.
3. Connect the vapour line then the fuel
line.
NOTE: The vapour line must be
connected before the fuel line.
4. Press the CAR button on the bowser and
use the up and down arrow buttons until
the correct car ID is displayed.
5. Put the toggle switch into the
TO BOWSER position and wait for the
green light to illuminate.
6. Press and hold the PUMP button and the
pump will start moving fuel from the
vehicle to the bowser. Fuelling will stop
immediately if the PUMP button is
released.
NOTE: Adjust the speed control to the
most advantageous speed, usually
around 1 o’clock on the dial for filling the
car.
7. The fuel will stop flowing when the
bowser is full or the fuel feed apparatus
is empty.
