2. Press and hold in the INPUT/TRIM Control (inner
knob) until the Front Panel Upper Display indi
-
cates SETUP: VERSION MXA60 V1.00 or higher.
Refer to figure 4.
Note: The Front Panel Upper Display will indicate
MXA60 V1.00 or higher for the first time.
After the first time it will display the Setup
Mode Menu item last accessed.
3. To exit from the Setup Mode, press the INPUT/
TRIM Control (inner knob). The Front Panel up
-
per Display will revert back to its normal display.
Refer to figure 3.
Your McIntosh MXA60 has been factory configured
for operating settings allowing immediate enjoyment
of superb audio without the need for further adjust-
ments. If you wish to make changes to the factory
default settings, a Setup Feature is provided to cus-
tomize the operating settings using the Front Panel
Information Display. Refer to figure 5 while perform-
ing the following steps.
Note: If the MXA60 is currently On, proceed to
step 2.
1. Press the VOLUME CONTROL in to switch
On the MXA60. The title “SOURCE: TUNER
FM TUBE WARMUP” will appear on the Front
Panel Information Display. The MXA60 will go
through a brief startup intialization with the Front
Panel Information Display indicating the last used
source and volume setting. This is followed by the
volume setting indication starting at zero and then
increasing to the last used volume setting. Refer to
figures 1, 2 and 3.

tion Name, Default Setting and the Page Number for
additional information.

In order to change the Source Name and Level for
Input 1 and Input 2, either Input needs be selected
before entering the Setup Mode.
