To adjust the rotor inclination the rear bogie wheels need to be removed and repositioned in the
desired hole location on the cross beam. Using the lower holes to the outside will raise that end of the
cross beam from the ground and using the higher holes on the inside will lower it.
Note: The wheel assemblies are heavy and an appropriate lifting device and sling must be used to
take their weight before loosening any mounting nuts!
R62-72: To remove the rear wheel assembly use a 30mm spanner to hold the stub axle (A) in place on
the outside and open the M20 nut (B) on the inside using a 30mm socket. Reposition the wheel
assembly in the new hole location and tighten the M20 nut (B) to a torque of 400Nm.
Single bogie rear wheel adjustment (R6272) LH bogie shown – Repeat on RH bogie.
R68-78: To remove the upper limiter stub shaft use a 22mm spanner to hold the stub shaft (C) in
place on the outside and open the M16 nut (D) on the inside using a 24mm socket. To remove the rear
twin wheel assembly use a 36mm spanner to hold the lower stub axle pivot (E) in place on the outside
and open the M20 nut (F) on the inside using a 30mm socket.
Reposition the twin wheel stub axle pivot in the new hole location and tighten the M20 nut (F) to a
torque of 400Nm. Then reposition the upper limiter stub shaft in the new hole location and tighten
the M16 nut (D) securely. It is important that the upper limiter stub shaft is fitted in the correct
corresponding hole position for it to operate properly.
Twin bogie rear wheel adjustment (R68-78) LH bogie shown – Repeat on RH bogie.
