Rotor inclination adjustment:
Typically the rotors are positioned horizontally as a factory default setting. However
when dealing with heavy crops they should be set so they are angled slightly towards
the centre of the machine. This is achieved by altering the bogie wheel mounting
positions on the cross beams. The outer wheels should be set lower that the inner
wheels allowing the cross beams and rotors to tilt inwards.
Before adjusting the bogie wheels, the rotor arms must be elevated to the headland
position. Lock the arms in this position by closing the tap on the hydraulic line. Next
switch off the tractor, apply the handbrake and remove the key. Use a crane or
suitable lifting equipment to support the weight of the rotor arms before continuing.
