4. Safety Information
In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, the warranty/
guarantee will expire. We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use
or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the guarantee/warranty will expire!
Dear Customer: The following safety information is intended not only for the protection of the device but also
for the protection of your health. Please read the following items carefully:
• For safety reasons, any unauthorized conversions and/or modifications to the product are not permitted.
• This device is a safety class 1 product. The only permissible voltage source is a proper grounded mains socket
(220-240 V/50 Hz) of the public mains.
• The mains socket must be close to the device and easily accessible.
• The light effect exceeds the thresholds of the “free group” and is classified as risk group 2 according to the eye safety
standard EN 62471. The device has the corresponding warning sign attached.
• The risk the viewer is exposed to depends on how the product is installed and used. Therefore observe all safety
information in these instructions.
• Never watch the LED light source with optical instruments that may bundle light beams (e.g. magnifying glasses,
binoculars, etc.).
• LED radiation may be dangerous if the LED beam enters the unprotected eye for any extended period. Therefore,
familiarise yourself with the statutory regulations and measures of precaution for the operation of this kind of LED
device before using the device.
• Never look straight into the light source during operation. The bright light flashes may temporarily impair your
eyesight. Apart from this, epileptic fits may be triggered under certain circumstances in persons sensitive to such
lights. This particularly applies to epileptics.
• All persons who operate this fog machine, install it, assemble it, put it into operation or service it must be trained
and qualified accordingly and must observe these operating instructions.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is the risk of potentially fatal electric shock!
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under mechanical stress.
Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable.
Otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
