Persons / Product
Caution: if operation settings or procedures other than those described in these instructions are used, it
•
could lead to exposure to dangerous radiation.
The product is equipped with a class 2 laser. Laser signs in different languages are included in the delivery.
•
If the sign on the laser is not written in the language of your country, please fix the appropriate sign on to
the laser.
As power supply, only use the supplied mains adapter.
•
Only a proper mains socket connected to the public power supply network may be used as power supply
•
unit for the power adaptor. Before plugging in the power adaptor, check whether the voltage stated on the
power adaptor complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
•
Never unplug the power unit from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the grips on the
•
plug.
Adjustments or maintenance should only be carried out by trained professionals who are aware of the
•
dangers. Improperly executed adjustments might result in dangerous laser radiation.
When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is directed so that no one is in
•
the projection area and that unintentional reflected beams (e.g. from reflective objects) cannot be directed
into areas where people are present.
Laser radiation can be dangerous, if the laser beam or reflection enters unprotected eyes.
•
Therefore, before using the laser equipment, familiarise yourself with the statutory regulations and
•
instructions for operating such a laser device.
Never look into the laser beam and never point it at people or animals. Laser radiation may result in injuries
•
to the eyes or skin.
Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other reflective surfaces. The uncontrolled, reflected beam may
•
strike people or animals.
Operate the laser only in a monitored area.
•
If possible, restrict the range of radiation by using screens or partitions.
•
Mark the range of the laser by barriers or by using warning signs.
•
Wherever possible, direct the laser in such a way that it does not cross eye level.
•
Never look directly into the laser beam when the device is in operation. The intense light rays could
•
temporarily impair your eyesight. Moreover, they may trigger epileptic seizures for vulnerable persons. This
applies in particular to epileptics.
Never look into the laser beam and never point it at people or animals. Laser radiation can seriously
•
damage your eyes.
If laser radiation enters your eyes, close your eyes immediately and move your head away from the beam.
•
If your eyes have been irritated by laser radiation, do not continue to carry out tasks with safety implications,
•
such as working with machines, working from great heights or close to high voltage. Also, do not operate
any vehicles until the irritation has completely subsided.
Never open the device. Setting or maintenance tasks must only be executed by a trained specialist familiar
•
with potential hazards. Improperly executed adjustments might result in dangerous laser radiation.
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
•
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
•
for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
•
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
•
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
•
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
is visibly damaged,
-
is no longer working properly,
-
has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
-
has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
-
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the
•
product.
Miscellaneous
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
•
Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified
•
shop.
If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical

Operation
5.
Keep a free area of 15 cm around the housing to ensure unhindered heat dissipation.
Otherwise, the laser may overheat.
To ensure sufficient ventilation, do not cover the device. In addition, the air circulation must
not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths or curtains.
The device must be mounted out of normal reach.
The mains socket, to which the laser is connected, must be easily accessible so the device
can be quickly separated from the mains voltage in the case of a fault.
For security reasons, disconnect the plug from the mains after each operation.
Never switch the laser effect device on and off at short intervals. This will considerably
reducethe working life of the device.
Place the laser onto an even, clean surface.
•
The desired operation mode is selected by means of the functional switch 1-2-3 (7) and the MUSIC/AUTO
•
(4) switch:
