Handling
• Never switch on the amplifier or connect it to a mains socket right after it was taken from a cold to a warm room.
The resulting condensation may destroy the device.
Let the amplifier reach room temperature before plugging it in and switching it on. Wait until the condensation
has evaporated.
• Never pull the mains plug from the mains socket by the cable. Only pull it from the mains socket by the intended
grip areas.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device for an extended period of time.
• Make sure the amplifier is sufficiently ventilated when in operation. During operation, keep a minimum distance
of 15 cm around the device. The ventilation openings and fan opening at the rear of the casing must not be
covered. Always remove both rack covers in operation if the device is rack-mounted!
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may damage your hearing.
Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the PA-Powerset, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the casing.
If you have reason to believe that the PA-Powerset can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and
make sure it is not unintentionally operated. Pull the mains plug of the amplifier from the mains socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• a device is visibly damaged
• a device no longer works
• the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time or
• after exposure to extraordinary stress caused by transport
