off all unnecessary electrical loads.

Connect the jumper cables in the exact
sequence in the illustration.
First connect one end of a cable to the
positive lenninal on the discharged bal­
tery

5. Slar! the engine of the booster vehicle
and run it a few minutes. Then stal1 the
engine of the other vehicle.

When finished, carefully disconnect the
cables in the rever.)( order described in
Step 4.
