NOTE:
Figure may not be representative of actual unit.
“A” = 30 inches (76.2 cm) minimum clearance between the
top of the cooking surface and the bottom of an unprotected
wood or metal cabinet, or “A” = 24 inches (61 cm) minimum
when bottom of wood or metal cabinet is protected by not
less than 1/4-inch (6.4 mm) thick flame-retardant millboard
covered with not less than No. 28 MSG sheet steel,
0.015-inch (0.381 mm) thick stainless steel, 0.024-inch
(0.610 mm) thick aluminum, or 0.020-inch (0.508 mm) thick
copper.
To eliminate the risk of burns or fire by reaching over heated
surface units, cabinet storage space located above the
surface units should be avoided. If cabinet storage is to be
provided, the risk can be reduced by installing a range hood
that projects horizontally a minimum of 5 inches (13 cm)
beyond the bottom of the cabinets.

NOTE: FOR INSTALLATION IN CANADA, A FREE-
STANDING RANGE IS NOT TO BE INSTALLED CLOSER
THAN 12MM FROM ANY ADJACENT SURFACE.
Precautions To Avoid Possible Exposure To
Excessive Microwave Energy
A. Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door
open since open-door operation can result in harmful
exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to
defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
B. Do not place any object between the oven front face
and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to
accumulate on sealing surfaces.
C. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is
particularly important that the oven door close
properly and that there is no damage to the: (1) Door
(bent), (2) hinges and latches (broken or loosened),
(3) door seals and sealing surfaces.
D. The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by
anyone except properly qualified service personnel.
