attack your pizza oven. Please clean your pizza oven
carefully after each use.
• The pizza oven must not be cleaned in the dishwas-
her. Use a cloth dampened with water and a mild
washing detergent. Never immerse the pizza oven
into water.
• Clean the pizza stone only with clear water and dry it
carefully before using it again. Never use detergents,
as any residues of the detergent will remain in the
pores of the pizza stone and may be transferred to
the food at the next use.
• Discoloration of the pizza stone is unavoidable and
does not have any negative impact on its functioning.
• Do not store the pizza oven outdoors.
• Let the appliance cool completely before cleaning or
storing.
• Do not use the pizza oven as a heater or to dry wet
clothes.
• If, contrary to expectations, a defect should occur
during use, immediately unplug the power cable
from the wall outlet and wait until the pizza oven has
cooled down.
• Use the pizza oven only as described in this manual.
Any other use not described in this manual may cau-
se fire, electrical shock, damage or other injury.
• This appliance complies with the technical standards
as well as the safety regulations for electric applian-
ces.
• Please keep this instruction manual carefully.
• Clean the pizza oven and the pan thoroughly with a slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent before using for the
first time. Then dry with a soft cloth.
• Clean the pizza stone only with pure water. Let it dry thoroughly afterwards.
• Before you connect the appliance to the power supply system, check whether the supply voltage complies with the
information on the type plate.
• Insert the power plug in an earthed socket (220-240 V).
IMPORTANT:
do not clamp power cables. Do not let
cables hang down and be careful that they do not become a trip hazard.
• This Mayer Barbecue electric grill is not intended for the industrial use.
Use
• Before each use, check the appliance and especially the power cable for damage.
•
Before using the pizza oven for the first time, we recommend that run the oven with the pizza stone only for
approx. 10 minutes with the lid closed at level 5. This ensures that any production residues on the heating ele-
ments or the pizza stone will be burned.
• The following average temperatures are only intended as a guide for operating your pizza oven:
Level 1: 140°C ±10%
Level 2: 220°C ±10%
Level 3: 300°C ±10%
Level 4: 350°C ±10%
Level 5: 400°C ±10%
• Never use the pizza stone as a cutting board for your pizza, this would damage the stone.
