MP-2000 User’s Guide

Your new Special Edition MP-2000 is an easy-to -use, pocket-sized, state-of-
the-art digital music player. Your favorite digital music  is combined in this
small-but -powerful personal stereo system. Wherever you take the MP -2000,
you can enjoy CD-quality, stereo sound.

With the user-friendly MP-2000 and your PC, you can customize a mix of
your favorite audio tracks, and store custom music selections on the solid -
state, removable, reusable, 32MB CompactFlash™ memory cartridge
included in this package. MP-2000 connects to your PC through a USB cable
so you can upload audio from the Internet or from your personal audio
collection. The unit will recognize and play audio files in  four popular
compression formats: AAC, ePAC, WMA and MP3.

The unit is powered by a built-in, rechargeable NiMH battery, allowing up to
four continuous hours of stereo music playback. Connecting the external
battery pack (included) gives you up to 10 hours of continuous playback time.
The full -featured system will repeat whatever you choose: a whole collection
of tracks, one track, or a selected passage of any length. You can tell your
MP-2000 to play tracks in either a set order or random order.

The liquid crystal display (LCD) screen displays the name of the song and
the artist and also lets you choose from five different equalizer settings to
maximize your personal audio experience. It displays the length of each song
and shows all the currently-selected settings and functions.

We hope you will enjoy the flexibility of selecting, downloading, storing, and
playing your favorite audio tracks using the MP-2000. This User’s Guide will
help you get the most from the digital audio product that puts you in control.
