BEFORE INITIAL USE
Clean the accessories before you first
use them as they may have possible
production residues on them. To do this,
follow the instructions in “Cleaning and
Storage”.
USE
Setting Up
Please Note!
■
IMPORTANT!
Once you have
transported and set up the device,
the device needs to rest for approx.
30 minutes
so that the liquid in the
cooling system can settle! Before you
first
use
the device, it should rest for
approx.
2 hours
before it is used.
■
Do not place the device on a soft sur-
face. Set up the device with sufficient
clear space (at least 20 cm) above it
and at all sides, in particular at the
ventilation openings, to prevent any
heat build-up.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
does not present a trip hazard. It may
not hang down from the surface on
which the device is placed in order to
prevent the device from being pulled
down.
■
Lay the connecting cable in such a way
that it is not bent and does not come
into contact with hot surfaces.
1. Place the device on a kitchen unit or
another
flat
, dry, heat-resistant and
stable surface.
2. Insert the ice cream container (

) into
the device and twist it slightly until it
is fully recessed.
3. Place the stirrer insert (
5
) on the axis in
the middle of the ice cream container
and twist it slightly until it fits without
any gaps.
Preparing Ingredients
Please Note!
■
Only switch on the device once all the
accessories have been inserted in the
device correctly. Never use it without
the ice cream container!
■
Do not switch on the device repeat-
edly at short intervals so that the
compressor is not damaged. Wait at
least 5 minutes before switching it on
again.
■
Do not pour any hot or frozen ingredi-
ents into the device. Frozen ingre-
dients could block the stirrer insert
before the ingredients have been
processed sufficiently.
■
Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed. The
plug socket must be readily accessible
so that the connection to the mains
can quickly be isolated. The mains
voltage must match the technical data
of the device.
■
Do not move the device during use.
Always remove the mains plug from
the plug socket and allow the stirrer
insert to come to a complete standstill
before transporting the device.
■
Keep the lid closed during operation.
Add ingredients through the filler
opening in the lid.
IMPORTANT!
The cooling system of the
device is operated by a compressor. It
is normal for the compressor and the
cooling liquid in the refrigerant circuit to
make noises.
1. Prepare the ingredients for an ice
cream, sorbet or frozen yoghurt and
mix them together. You will find a few
suggestions in the “Basic Recipes”
chapter.
2. Pour the ingredient mixture into the
ice cream container (
