Prior to

Attention! When toasting for the
fi
rst time, an odour may be
emitted. We therefore recommend that you
fi
rst complete the
toasting process on the highest setting (level 7) without bread in
order to evaporate any leftover residue from assembly. When
doing so, maintain a three-minute pause between each toasting
process. In the process, ensure that the room is well ventilated, e.
g. with windows that have been opened wide!
1. Remove the device from the packaging and check it for transport damages. If it exhibits dam-
ages, contact our customer service centre.
2. Place the toaster on a dry and heat-resistant, even surface with suf
fi
cient space to
fl
ammable
objects. Please ensure that the toaster is not accessible for children.
3. Insert the mains plug in an installed, 230 V earthed socket with earthing contacts and which
has been installed in compliance with regulations.
4. Your toaster is now ready for operation.
