Fuel System
Carefully read the fuel section of both the Cruiser & Yacht Owner’s Manual and the engine operation manual, paying
special attention to the subject of fuel recommendations.
FIRE, EXPLOSION AND OPEN FLAME HAZARD!

It is very important that the fuel system be inspected thoroughly the first time it is filled and
at each subsequent filling.
•
The fueling instructions in the Cruiser & Yacht Owner’s Manual and the fuel recommenda-
tions in the engine operation manual must be followed.

Avoid the storage or handling of gear near the fuel lines, fittings and tank.
CAUTI ON
!
Air in the diesel supply system can stop an engine or severely restrict performance. If you sus-
pect air in the fuel lines, refer to your engine operation manual for detailed instructions on how
to bleed the system.
