for 3 days by
setting
the Post Cap Light

in sunlight
with
the on/off
switch

set to off.
After you turn the switch to on, if you want to test the light, you can cover the solar panel
with your hand or paper and see if the light turns on.

1. Carefully twist off the solar cap from the base.
2. Place the switch in the off position.
3. Remove the battery compartment cover

4. Carefully remove the battery.
5. Replace the battery with a new

6. Replace the battery compartment cover

7. Replace the solar cap onto its base.
A. For best results

fully charge the battery before use. Keeping the light switch
in
the off position, let the solar cap be charged under full sun for up to 3 days.
B. After charging, turn light switch to the on position. Your light will automatically
turn
on when it gets dark.
Caution: Dispose
of
Lithium-ion

atteries properly. Never dispose of them in a fire.
HOW TO INSTALL
ON A STANDARD 6 X 6" POST
1. Carefully twist off the solar cap from the base.
2. Place
the
base on t
he
adapter and secure with two screws into
the
small lower side
screw openings.
3. Mount assembled post cap with base adapter onto
p
ost. Mark and if needed,
pre-drill
holes. Secure with included screws.
