If the cutting blade becomes blunt, you can sharpen it using the sharpening stone located on
top of the appliance. Partially unscrew the back bolt and lift the sharpening stone as far as
possible, then turn the stone 90 degrees and drop it back in place. Turn on the appliance and
slightly push both silver buttons simultaneously. This will push the sharpening stone against
the cutting blade and sharpen the blade. Hold the buttons for approximately 30 seconds and
check the blades sharpness. If necessary, repeat this process. When finished with sharpering
the cuttingblade, return the sharpening stone to the original position. After cleaning the
appliance is ready for use.
