The Elite Brand takes consumer safety very seriously. Products are designed and
manufactured with our valued consumers’ safety in mind. Additionally, we ask that
you exercise a level of caution when using any electrical appliance by following all
instructions and important safeguards.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE

WARNING:

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should

always be followed as below:

1.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use
handles only.

2.

To protect against risk of electric
shock, do not immerse or partially
immerse the cord, plugs, or the entire
unit in water or any other liquid.

3.

Do not operate the appliance with
wet hands or while standing on a wet

floor. Do not touch the power plug

with wet hands.

4.

Close supervision is necessary when
appliance is used by or near children.

5.

Unplug from wall outlet when not
in use and before cleaning. Allow to
cool before cleaning or storing this
appliance.

6.

Do not operate any appliance with
a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been
damaged in any manner. Return the
appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair
or adjustment.

7.

The use of accessories attachments
not recommended by the appliance

manufacturer may cause fire,

electrical shock or injuries.

8.

Do not use outdoors. This is for
household only.

9.

Oversized foods or metal utensils
must not be inserted in the appliance

as they may cause a fire or risk of

electrical shock.

10.  Do not let the electrical cord hang

over the edge of the table or counter,
or touch hot surfaces.

11.  Do not place on or near a hot gas or

electric burner or in a heated oven.

12.  Do not place the appliance on a

plastic table cloth.

13.

Always attach plug to appliance first,

then plug cord into wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn any control to “OFF”
position, then remove plug from wall
outlet without pulling the cord.

14.  Protect the temperature dial from

being hit, strong vibrations or
dropping.

15.  Do not move the appliance while it

contains hot oil or other hot fluids. Set

up the appliance in the desired location
in advance.

16.

A fire may occur if the appliance is

covered or touching flammable

materials including curtains, draperies,
walls and the like when in operation.

17.  Do not clean with metal scouring pads.

Pieces can break off the pad and touch
electrical parts, involving a risk of
electrical shock.

18.  Extreme caution should be exercised

when using containers constructed
of other material other than metal or
glass.

19.  Do not store any materials other than

manufacturers recommended
accessories in this unit when not in use.

20.  Do not place any of the following

materials in the unit: paper,
cardboard, plastic and the like.

21.

Some countertop and table surfaces,

such as Corian®, wood and / or
laminates, are not designed to
withstand prolonged heat generated
by certain appliances. It is
recommended by countertop
manufacturers and Maxi-Matic® that a
hot pad or trivet be placed under your
appliance to prevent possible damage
to the surface.
