Congratulations on the purchase of your Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System.
Safety, comfort and user friendliness have played an important role in the development of the Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side
Protection System.This product meets the most stringent safety regulations.
Research shows that a high number of car safety seats are incorrectly installed. Therefore, please take the time to read
through the instruction manual carefully. The Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System offers maximum safety only
when it is used in accordance with the instructions.
We recommend that you use the Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System in combination with the backrest at all times,
but in particular when used by children in the weight range from 15 to 25 kg (3

to 7 years of age).

• Make yourself familiar with these instructions and look carefully at the illustrations in the manual before using
the Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System.
• The Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System is approved to meet the latest European safety regulations (ECE
R44/03) and is suitable for children from 15-36 kg (approx. 31/2 to 12 years old and up to a maximum height of
1.50 metres).
• The Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System may be used on the front or rear passenger seat. We recommend
that you place the Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection System on the rear seat in the car.
• DO NOT use a child safety seat if the vehicle is equipped with a front airbag. This can be dangerous. This does not
apply to so-called side airbags. Warning! If side airbags are installed only use the Maxi-Cosi Rodi Side Protection
System with the backrest.
