This base has indicators that
show when the LATCH: Lower
Anchor or vehicle belt have
been securely tightened.
The red will turn
completely
green
when tightened
correctly.
No red should be
showing.

Tightness Indicators
•
You
must Lift the Release Lever
in
order for the LATCH: Lower Anchor
belts to loosen.
•
You
must Push the Release Lever
Down
in order for the LATCH: Lower
Anchor belts to tighten.
•
You
must Lift the Release Lever
in
order to thread the lap belt or the
lap/shoulder belt under both the belt
path guides and the Lockoff.
•
You
must
tighten the vehicle belt
BEFORE Pushing the Release Lever
Down
to close the Lockoff.
•
The lap belt or the lap/shoulder belt
must be
completely under the belt
path guides and the Lockoff.
