Converting the car seat for
low-birth weight suitability
1. Ensure the headrest is in the lowest
standard height setting and if it isn’t,
activate the headrest adjustment
handle and push the headrest down,
stopping when the headrest cannot
be positioned any lower.
2. To adjust the headrest into the
low-birth-weight height and width
setting, activate the headrest
adjustment lever and simultaneously,
push on the low-birth-weight
harness button. The button is
located as per
image A . Once both
are activated, push the headrest
into the lower position, automatically
adjusting the harness’s width.
3. To adjust the waist straps, turn
the capsule upside down and pull
the harness anchors out from the
retention clips at the slots as shown
in
image B
and unthread them from
the slot as shown in image C .
4. Once freed, slot the waist strap back
through the low birth weight slot,
as shown in
image D . Pull straps to
secure strap anchors in the slot.
