DDs/Dat Cartridges Maxell features an advanced cartridge design to ensure contamination-free
recording combined with superior data grade tape for a minimal dropout rate.
Maxell’s patented Ceramic Coating process protects the fine metal particles in
the magnetic layer of the tape from heat, humidity and oxidation – resulting
in a tape durable enough to withstand at least 2,000 passes with 30+ years of
archival storage life.
Maxell cartridges feature a unique Safe-T-Lock™ hub-locking mechanism,
which ensures proper tape tension and prevents misthreading during the initial
loading stage.
