SOFTWARE UPDATE
Set the following parameters to update the installed software in the MediaRacer® 100 unit
(Fig. 5-12).

Software Updating
In the
Local File Name
field, enter the name of the software file – ramcmpr.bin, its
directory path and folder. Alternatively, click on the Browse button, located to the right of
the field, to access the folder and select the file from the displayed list.
Type your username and password in the
User
and
Password
fields in the same way that
they were entered during the configuration process. If there is an error in the username or
password, it will not be possible to carry out the required update.
In the
MediaRacer® IP
field, enter the IP Address of the MediaRacer® 100 unit in which
you want to update the software.
The only permitted function for updating the software in the MediaRacer® 100 unit is
writing the ramcmpr.bin software file to the unit – click on the
Put
button.
After the various parameters have been set, clicking on the
Put
button (Fig. 5-12) will
open a new window (Fig. 5-10). This window displays the status of the current activity (in
the upper field) and the rate of its progress (in the bottom field).
When the writing procedure has been completed, click
OK
to close the window. The
MediaRacer® 100 unit will automatically reboot.
