Boot mode 

Defines the different operation modes of the 

MediaRacer® 100 unit. 

Application

 – normal operation mode for the 

MediaRacer® 100 unit. 

Update Flash

 – an operation mode for performing 

automatic application software updates. 

Maintenance

 – an operation mode that enables 

performance of maintenance tasks only, associated with 
the MediaRacer® Service Software. This mode of 

operation cancels the requirement to press the space bar 

during the rebooting process, and forces the unit to start 

up directly into the MediaRacer® Services Software 

main menu. 

This mode should only be used by qualified
