ADVANCE: Increases time of timer.
START LB/KG: Starts timer. Changes display from kilograms and grams
(kg/g) to pounds and ounces (lb/oz) and vice versa.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The scale uses a 9 volt battery which is included with unit.
Change the batteries when the battery low symbol

shows on the LCD.
The Battery compartment is in the bottom of the unit. To replace the battery
just remove cover and replace with new one /-.
USING THE SCALE
Place scale on a flat, level, solid supporting surface.
Align the holes in the bottom of the cutting board with the studs of the scale
base and set the cutting board onto the base. NOTE: The cutting board only
goes onto the base one way.
Press ON/TARE and watch for “0” to appear on LCD.
You can weigh and cut food on the cutting board while it is on the scale.
Note: Do not CHOP or POUND on the cutting board while it is on the base.
Doing so may permanently damage the scale’s load cell.
You can add items to those already weighed without removing them by
pressing the ON/TARE button.
The scale can be used without the cutting board to weigh items in a bowl.
Place bowl between the studs. Press ON/TARE to zero the bowl weight and
add food into bowl.
The scale will automatically shut off if nothing is weighed after 5 minutes.
TIMER
Press the ON/TARE button and wait for “0” appear on the LCD.
Press TIMER button and a time symbol and four digits will appear on
the LCD, the first of the digits will flash on and off. The first two digits
represent the minutes and the other two the seconds.
Press ADVANCE button to change the first digit. Press TIMER when
