9. Now lift the motor assembly into position and
place the hanger ball into the hanger bracket.
Rotate down rod until the "Check Tab" has
dropped into the "Registration Slot" and the
down rod and ball assembly seat firmly. The
down rod and ball assembly should not rotate
if this is done correctly. (Fig. 5)
10. An additional safety support is provided to
prevent the fan from falling. Secure the safety
cable to the ceiling joist with screw and
washer. (Fig. 5)

6. MAKING THE ELECTRICAL
CONNECTIONS
Warning:
The power should have already been
disconnected. Follow the steps below to connect
the fan to your household wiring. Loose the
screws on the terminal block, insert the wire to
each terminal block and re-tighten the screws
loosened previously. Make sure there are no
loose strands or connections.
NOTE:
The remote control system is equipped
with a learning frequency function which has 16
code combinations to prevent potential
interference from other remote units. The
frequency on your Receiver and Transmitter units
have been preset at the factory. No frequency
change is necessary, should you desire to install
another fan within the same home or area with a
seperate frequency code please see the
"learn
Mode Process"
operating the remote control
section of this instruction manual to learn how to
change the frequency. (Fig. 6)
1. Insert Receiver into Hanger Bracket with the
flat side of the Receiver facing the ceiling. (Fig. 7)
2. Connect the green/ground wires from the
downrod ball to the terminal block “ ” hole. (Fig.
8 & 11)
3. Connect the green/ground wires from the
household and ceiling fan to the terminal block “
@
” hole. (Fig. 8 & 11)
4. Connect the white, neutral receiver neutral
wire to the neutral household neutral wire.
Connect the black, Live/hot receiver Live/hot wire
to the Live/hot household Live/hot wire (Fig. 9 &
11).
