
Before using for the first time
- Before the appliance is used for the first time, it
must be thoroughly cleaned as described in the
section
General care and Cleaning.
Short-time operation
The appliance is designed to process average domestic
quantities of food; it may be operated without interruption
for a maximum of 1 minute, when it should be allowed to
cool down for approximately a 5 minutes.
Operation
- Always use a suitable container for operation. A tall
container with a flat base is best.
- Push the blender unit down into the ingredients in the
bowl before briefly switching the unit on with the
operation button.
- Make sure that the unit can rotate freely inside the
bowl and is not blocked during operation.
- As soon as the operating button is released, the
blender will switch off. Always wait until the motor
has come to a complete standstill before lifting the
blender attachment from the mixture.
- Always remove the plug from the wall socket after
use.

To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean
the drive unit or the power cord with water and do
not immerse them in water. The drive unit may be
wiped with a slightly damp, lint- free cloth.
Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or
sharp or pointed objects for cleaning.
- The blade can be cleaned under hot, running water.
Ensure that only the blender and blade units are
cleaned the way. All other parts of the appliance
must be kept well away from water. To remove
persistent food residues, a suitable brush may also
be used.

precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
