Cause
Windows 7/Vista/XP
– If the Windows method for display driver installation was used
(instead of running the setup program included with your Matrox display driver), the driver
may not be installed for all the graphics cards it supports.

Solution
Run the setup program included with the Matrox display driver. The setup program
automatically installs the display driver for each Matrox graphics card it supports.

Windows 7/Vista
– You may be using a WDDM (Windows Vista Display Driver Model)
display driver that doesn’t support all the graphics hardware installed in your computer. For

Make sure you’re using a WDDM display driver that supports all your graphics hardware.

Uninstall the WDDM driver and install XDDM (Windows XP Display Driver Model) display
drivers for all your graphics hardware. Windows 7/Vista supports multiple XDDM drivers
running at once.

Disable or remove any graphics hardware you don’t need.
Problem
Screen image defects appear, program doesn’t run properly, or
