How to change your code number
Your lock has been pre-programmed with a five-digit access code. This
section tells you how this code may be changed.
You will also have been supplied with spare tumblers; these may be used to
reduce the code to four digits or to increase it to six or seven digits.
Also supplied is a pair of tweezers for removing the tumblers. Make sure these
are ready to hand.
1. Remove the lock from the door.
2. Remove the 4 R

removing the plate, because there are a lot of small components inside.

4. To change your code, push the ‘C
C’ button down and hold it. You can then
easily remove one or more of your code and non-code tumblers, using the
tweezers provided or needlenose pliers. Your code will always start with
the ‘C’ button (this cancels any wrong entries) plus 3 to 7 buttons of your
choice, both numbers and letters. YYo

5. Please note the different shapes of tumbler, before re-inserting them into
the lock body. Firstly, there is a difference in shape between the code and
non-code tumblers, and Secondly, when refitting the tumblers into the
lock body, they must be fitted facing the right way (See Fig. 8).
6. With the spare tumblers you can change your code to ‘C
C’ + anything from
3 to 7 digits. After you have refitted the tumblers and made a note of the
new code, make sure you replace the metal plate with the 4 screws.
